Festival camping essentials include a lightweight, easy-to-pitch tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat or airbed, pillow, folding chair, torch or lantern, reusable water bottle, and a power bank for charging devices. Don’t forget a mallet for tent pegs, earplugs, and a groundsheet for comfort and protection from the elements.

Bring a portable camping stove (if allowed), lighter or matches, reusable plates, cutlery, a mug, and a coolbag or coolbox for food storage. Pack snacks, breakfast foods, and a reusable water bottle. Always check festival rules regarding cooking equipment and avoid glass containers.

Choose a quality sleeping bag and mat or airbed for insulation and comfort. Bring a pillow, earplugs, and an eye mask to block out noise and light. Consider blackout tents or foil blankets to keep your tent cool in the morning, and pack extra blankets for warmth if needed.

Pack toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, travel-size shower gel, hand sanitiser, and microfibre towels. Bring toilet paper, wet wipes, and any prescription medications. Use sunscreen and insect repellent, and keep a small first aid kit with plasters, painkillers, and antihistamines on hand.

Bring a waterproof tent, rain jacket or poncho, wellies or sturdy boots, and a tarp or gazebo for extra shelter. Use a groundsheet or picnic rug to keep your sleeping area dry. Pack spare clothes in waterproof bags and be ready for mud and sudden weather changes.
