General

Introducing The North Face fully redesigned high-altitude Himalayan mountaineering suit. Designed for a range of alpine pursuits, 900-fill ProDown provides high-level warmth, retaining its loft and compressibility in wet conditions. Sophisticated Cloud Down construction helps reduce cold spots to keep you warm, dry and protected all the way to the top. Then there's the targeted use of stretch synthetic insulation and a breathable lining in the collar, inner front placket, back panel and inner thighs that helps regulate your temperature in key zonal areas. With a fine-tuned fit that balances warmth and mobility, you'll be able to move unrestricted - even during tricky, reachy climbs. The FUTURELIGHT outer in the lower arms, seat and lower legs is both waterproof and abrasion resistant, protecting you from brushes with rock and pointy mountain tools. Summit Series layers all work together for optimum performance in terms of breathability, insulation, weather resistance and moisture management. A top-of-the-line high-altitude mountaineering suit.

About this brand

sr-tnf-brand-page-header

Few brands inspire confidence like The North Face. Year after year they make some of the best ski wear on the market. Bold colours, flattering fits and this year there’s something even more exciting in the line-up, a new fabric they’ve developed to deliver superior comfort, FUTURELIGHT. An added bonus of FUTRELIGHT is its eco-friendly credentials. Recycled materials go into the product, the waterproof coating comes from PFC-free chemicals while the factory is solar powered. The North Face is named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. But it was actually founded in 1966 at an altitude of 150 feet above sea level, on a beach in San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their mission is to provide the best gear, support the preservation of the outdoors and inspire exploration. Judging from this year’s collection, which matches style and rugged protection, they’re still very much on track.
