All about this product
General
The Terra proves that carrying heavier loads needn't be back-breaking. This classic trekking backpack, designed for many days on the trail, features a shock-absorbing (knee and back pleasing) OPTIFIT suspension system and DynoLiftSystem with self-equalising, shoulder-strap load lifters to deliver a smoother ride even on rugged terrain. The moulded, supportive hip belt takes the weight off your shoulders and the comfy foam and mesh back panel aids airflow. The large 65L volume eats up gear, but don't worry about having to rummage around at the bottom to find what you need; the full J-zip means you can open up the main compartment and quickly find what you're looking for. The top lid expands to accommodate extra gear and the compression straps help you cinch it all in to create a more streamlined shape. There are trekking pole attachments; it's hydration-system compatible and the large front pocket comes in very handy for quick-access stashing of your shell layer.

About this brand
Few brands inspire confidence like The North Face. Year after year they make some of the best ski wear on the market. Bold colours, flattering fits and this year there’s something even more exciting in the line-up, a new fabric they’ve developed to deliver superior comfort, FUTURELIGHT. An added bonus of FUTRELIGHT is its eco-friendly credentials. Recycled materials go into the product, the waterproof coating comes from PFC-free chemicals while the factory is solar powered. The North Face is named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. But it was actually founded in 1966 at an altitude of 150 feet above sea level, on a beach in San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their mission is to provide the best gear, support the preservation of the outdoors and inspire exploration. Judging from this year’s collection, which matches style and rugged protection, they’re still very much on track.
