General
The Magic Sling 12.0 from Mammut has been produced using a completely new method. A core of round twisted Dyneema yarn is surrounded by an abrasion-proof sheath, resulting in an ultra-robust sling without any load-bearing connecting seam. Thanks to its special construction, the Magic Sling 12.0 offers significantly higher knot strength in comparison with conventional slings. The core-sheath construction (load-bearing core and protective sheath) also makes the sling far less susceptible to damaging UV rays, and abrasion from rough rocks does not impair the sling's tensile strength. Suitable for universal use and offering absolute maximum safety, this sheath is even softer and more flexible than ever before.
