Boots for all occasions in the city, at the country pub and even for the ski slopes, the boots feel like they were born to grip and to look cool amazeballs, thanks for helping me out sorel my wife loves them, she has found in the ice and snow she can be confident when walking knowing they will grip her well

No real grip over hard snow, quite unstable and you do slip. Allows for snow to fall into the boot whilst walking due to the wide opening. Too shallow to be worn in 4-inches of snow.
Definitely style over substance.

Being a bit of a fair weather girl (guilty as charged!) this was my first time buying a pair of snow sturdy boots in preparation for a January holiday to New York City.
After some online research Sorel came out as the clear brand favourite to buy - and now I know why!
Despite some snow and temperatures averaging -5 my feet stayed snug & cosy - whilst wearing just 1 pair of normal socks. In fact I cant think of one occasion in 11 days there when I had cold feet which quite frankly, given the temperatures, is a miracle!!
It gets even better though. Despite only wearing the boots for a minimal amount of time pre holiday, I spent 11 days walking what must have been hours per day in them and did not get any blisters!
My only slight criticism is that they were quite slippy when walking over icy patches or subway grids on the street so I can't comment on how suitable they would be for a ski-ing holiday.
However if you are in need of boots that look good, are comfy and that keep your tootsies perfectly warm then I can't recommend these enough.
