Light enough not to feel clunky with a soft lining and plenty of padding for the vulnerable blister areas, this shoe is robust and hard wearing. I was particularly looking for good grip and the sole is well engineered. Comfy round the ankle too and so far waterproof. Laces stay done up with a single knot too. Pleased as been struggling with another brand shoe for a while and these do the job well.

I'm cursed with a rather narrow foot and often have trouble finding a boot that fits. However the assistant in the shop went straight for this one, and after trying on a few other pairs just to be sure there was no doubt in my mind that this was a match made in heaven. The moment I slid my foot in to the boot it felt like my feet were being greeted home after being absent for many years. Walking around on them is like being cushioned by thousands of little personal clouds. Thanks Snow and Rock for finding me my dream boot!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by JoshS Oh so comfortable
Is the only shoe I've found that properly fits my feet (they are pretty wide). Ankle felt super secure from the get go and never even had to break them in. Praying that these don't get discontinued. All round great shoe. Would highly recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by abb77 A good no-frills walking boot
If you have narrower feet then these boots could be the ones for you. If, like me, you have very narrow ankles and wider balls at the front of the foot, then I would recommend trying them on before purchasing. The overall fit I found to be too narrow at the front, but perfect in the heel/ankle region. I don't agree with the product description which highlights their 'wide toe box', though users with less wide feet may indeed find this to be the case. I unfortunately had to return them. That's why I have given an average star rating and a below average overall performance. Besides that they were excellent value at around £100 in January 2015, and the quality also appeared to be excellent. I only used them around the house to test the fit, so I can't comment on their longevity nor performance in an environment that they're designed for.

These shoes are ridiculously comfy and overall great shoe. Coming from LaSportiva means I'm sure they will last a while as well.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by boston-crab First pair of actual NEW boots ... very happy!!
Bought these boots as i had used second hand purchases for too long .... on the advice of sales assistant (which was great) these boots were chosen..
As a man with a broader foot i need something to give my toes a break ...these fit the bill (though i did go a half size bigger too...)
Since living with my 'newbies' there have been no more blisters, no need to blame the socks or terrain for my pain and i certainly don't feel crippled at the end of a walk ...
Great fit, look smart, easy to clean and really don't' feel as though i am wearing them ...
They were also bought with express intention of using up Ben Nevis in May 15 ... all part of specification i gave the 'Man from Snow & Rock' .... but on the basis of performance so far i am sure they'll be great ...
