Berghaus Men's Voltage Jacket
This jacket is well-made, good-looking, lightweight, truly waterproof and easy to pack when not required. It may be fairly expensive but is worth it. The fit isn't as generous as other Berghaus coats I have tried, but I factored this in after reading some reviews and the Large I ordered is perfect.

I purchased my Voltage in October. I loved it. Then the hanging loop broke. I returned the jacket to the store who promptly sent it back to Berghaus for repairs. I was issued with a replacement. One month later the hanging loop is about to break on this jacket too. Its not as if I'm hanging them up with lead in the pockets!
Other than that I love this jacket!

Good lightweight jacket
As described, it is a very lightweight and reasonably breathable jacket. It is definitely waterproof - I have tested this a few times recently on my 7 mile walk to work. Only thing I would change is that there is no inside pocket, which is a shame.

Quality worries me
Really like the jacket but as son as I hung it up to dry, the hanging tag ripped. I am still overseas using it so cant take it back for repair yet. But its warm and defo keeps you dry.

Berghaus Voltage Jacket
High quality jacket that keeps you dry and warm. The jacket is also very tough and robust and will last a very long time.
This jacket is also keeping me warm at the moment without a fleece underneath. I don't know if this jacket will keep you warm in winter when its snowing

Good performance but elastic sleeves and hems not great. Hood adjustment not great either. Needs a rethink. Good breathability and durability as you would expect from a gore tex product. Fine as a back up.

The bees' knees
Bought to replace my 12 year old Berghaus Extrem jacket which has finally served its time in advance of a French walking holiday. So already a huge fan of this versatile jacket and its predecessor. Amazed to find 3 others out of 12 on the trip all wearing, and swearing by, the same jacket that takes up minimal space in a backpack but has the temperament to stand up to the roughest wet and windy weather. Can't fault anything about it. Proves that you get's what you pays for. And nice to have something other than black and tan to wear.
