The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead is London's closest indoor snow slope, bringing you a real mountain experience without having to book a flight. Just 5 minutes from the M1 (Junction 8) and 10 minutes from the M25 (Junction 20), step onto 6,500 tonnes of real snow and immerse yourself in temperatures as low as -6°. Enjoy that familiar crunching sound of real snow under your skis or board as you hone your skills on the 160m main slope, or learn new ones with ski and snowboard lessons on the largest lesson slope in the UK.

The Snow Centre Manchester (previously called Chill Factore) launched in 2007, bringing the UK’s longest indoor, real snow slope (180 metres), and amazing snow experiences to the Northwest!

Located less than 4 miles away from Manchester’s City Centre, adjacent to The Trafford Centre, The Snow Centre is easily accessible for anyone looking to shred. Stop by for ski and snowboard lessons for all levels, ages, and abilities, or enjoy family activities in the Snow Park. With shops and restaurants also on site, The Snow Centre Manchester has everything for an epic day out.

The Snow Centre has created an inclusive environment for all snow lovers to enjoy. It is proud to be home to Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) - a nationwide registered charity, providing adaptive skiing for individuals with any disability, whether that be physical, sensory or learning difficulties.

To increase accessibility, both venues offer heavily discounted lessons across the summer months: the perfect opportunity if you’re unsure whether snowsports are for you. With Snow+Rock discounts, equipment included in every lesson, and teams dedicated to your experience, The Snow Centre has something for everyone.

How to claim your discount:

We offer a 10% discount* to The Snow Centre lift pass holders across a range of full-price products, at the Snow+Rock Hemel Hempstead or Snow+Rock Trafford Park stores. To receive your discount please show your lift pass in-store on the day of your visit.

Every summer, The Snow Centres host adrenaline-fuelled freestyle party nights. Full Park Fridays alternate between Hemel Hempstead and Manchester, each with its own theme and DJ pumping out party vibes, and Snow+Rock is proud to be part of the fun. The Northern Snow Show hits Manchester

Each year, you can kick start your winter season at The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead’s Get Your Kit Out Weekend.
