General
Complementing the Polar Expedition Jacket, the Men's Polar Expedition Salopettes are designed with unsupported Antarctic crossings in mind. Fully proven on the longest Polar man-haul in history these Salopettes are the pinnacle of Polar design. Highly breathable and weather-resistant, Electrospun fabric is combined with POLARTEC Alpha insulation in the areas most susceptible to extreme cold. Foam knee panels give extra insulation whilst pitching tents.
They feature 4 zippered pockets, two in the chest and two on the thigh. They also have two full-length side zippers which make the salopettes easy to get on and off even over big boots. The 2-way zippered fly is also reinforced with an extra storm flap for better weather protection. The unlined lower leg is designed to be worn either inside or outside your boots. The seams throughout the salopettes are triple stitched for comfort and durability.
