All about this product

The Women’s Capilene Midweight Bottoms from Patagonia have a smooth face for easy layering, a forgiving stretch that moves with you and an internal diamond-grid pattern that rests lightly on the skin to trap warmth. The hollow-core yarn construction increases wicking performance and speeds dry times. Treated with HeiQ Fresh durable odor control, which means less washing and longer wearing, and because these bottoms are Fair Trade Certified sewn, the people who made it earned a premium for their labour. Designed to layer under your trekking pants during the cold seasons, offering extra warmth and protection on a mountain top they feature a chafe-free flatlock seam design, gusseted crotch and elastic waistband throughout to also enhance comfort.

About this brand

Patagonia Header Image

Patagonia are in the business to save our home planet. Their values reflect those of a business started by a band of climbers and surfers, and the minimalist style they promoted. The approach they take toward product design demonstrates a bias for simplicity and utility. Their criteria for the best product rests on function, repairability, and, foremost, durability. Among the most direct ways we can limit ecological impacts is with goods that last for generations or can be recycled so the materials in them remain in use. Making the best product matters for saving the planet.
