Crafted in collaboration with The North Face athletes, the Summit Torre Egger FUTURELIGHT Trousers are purpose-built to tackle the rigors of high alpine climbing, enabling you to reach new heights and overcome extreme challenges. These trousers are engineered with the highest level of breathable-waterproof protection, ensuring they can withstand even the most unforgiving weather conditions.
Constructed from a three-layer fabric, these alpine trousers feature high-denier kick patches, enhancing their durability for encounters with rocky terrain and sharp mountain tools. Their design includes adjustable and removable suspenders, reducing bulk and offering increased flexibility. Integrated stretch gaiters provide a seamless fit with various mountaineering boots, while articulated patterning ensures exceptional mobility.
For those who prefer to keep essential gear within arm's reach, these trousers come equipped with spacious, harness-compatible thigh pockets. What's more, the use of recycled materials in their construction makes them environmentally friendly, safeguarding the pristine landscapes we explore. The Summit Series layers are designed to work in harmony, ensuring optimum performance in terms of breathability, insulation, weather resistance, and moisture management. Few brands inspire confidence like The North Face. Year after year they make some of the best ski wear on the market. Bold colours, flattering fits and this year there’s something even more exciting in the line-up, a new fabric they’ve developed to deliver superior comfort, FUTURELIGHT. An added bonus of FUTRELIGHT is its eco-friendly credentials. Recycled materials go into the product, the waterproof coating comes from PFC-free chemicals while the factory is solar powered. The North Face is named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. But it was actually founded in 1966 at an altitude of 150 feet above sea level, on a beach in San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their mission is to provide the best gear, support the preservation of the outdoors and inspire exploration. Judging from this year’s collection, which matches style and rugged protection, they’re still very much on track.
