Patagonia's classic MLC is a burly, soft-sided 45L suitcase with convertible backpack straps for comfy load carrying with enough room for world travel based on the maximum carry-on size of most airline carriers, and free of wheels or handles that might get in the way once you're out of the airport.

Able to be carried as a backpack, shoulder bag or a duffel, it's the ultimate partner for navigating busy airports with ease. A wide webbing loop on the back panel acts as a haul handle or can be slipped over the handle of rolling luggage for easier movement through airports along with the padded, stowable hip belt that takes weight off your shoulders in backpack mode and doubles as the shoulder strap in briefcase mode.

The clamshell design for the main zippered compartment features two separate chambers for easy packing, access and organization along with a padded laptop pocket, drop-in top pocket for smaller items and external lash points for coats and layers when no longer needed. Fair Trade Certified sewn and made from a light, strong recycled polyester with a highly weather-resistant TPU-film laminate, it's ideal for camping in the wilderness or those international work and holiday trips through the airport.
