Arc'teryx Spiro Cap

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for five days of hiking in the Dolomites Took this to the Dolomites in late August for five days of rifugio-to-rifugio hiking, and it was perfect for keeping the sun off both my face and the back of my neck, and sweat out of my eyes. It's really light, and l was able to scrunch it up into a tiny space in backpack without affecting its shape. However, I couldn't work out how to fold the flap back into the cap tidily. I bought this half price in the sales, which I thought was good value. 21 September 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A bit dorky but worth it My friends enjoyed joking about my dorky hat, but as soon as we got to the quarry and climbed all day I definitely had more than one of them asking to wear it. I'm ginger so I burn really quickly, this hat was such a good buy, it kept me cool and it fit under my helmet whilst I belayed!! Also this hat packs down to nothing. 01 July 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable and great all weather head gear I fly Rc Models and have often returned from a days flying with a burnt neck and ears. So I finally did something about it. With the flap up the cap is comfortable on the head, and offers a nice amount of shade on the eyes when flying in bright sunny conditions. With the flap down protection for the neck and ears are great, and the flap is a very light material so you still get what breeze there is on the back of your neck. 08 June 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super functional Although not the coolest attire this cap is very practical for keeping out of the sun, it also folds up easily and is lightweight. So as long as you're not worried about looking cool and are more worried about keeping cool in the sun then this is a great cap for cycling and hiking/mountaineering. It ensures that you don't get too much sun on the parts that you generally forget to put the sunblock on (like ears and the back of your neck). I did find it a little loose in the wind but thats probably something that can be adjusted by choosing different sizes. 16 July 2014
