Rossignol Unisex Pursuit MIPS
warm and comfortable
I hope I never need to find out if this helmet saves my head. All I know is that it's comfortable and keeps my ears warm. And it looks pretty cool.

Very comfy, feels solid and isn't too heavy.
Wore this for a week in the Alps
Worn constantly throughout the week no problems, thankfully I haven't had to rely on it but it feels sturdy and secure.
The retractable vents were pretty redundant as it felt no different open/closed but the chinstrap clip is just a basic one so it's easy to take off quickly.
The flaps over the ears allow for slightly larger headphones.
My only gripes are,
the goggles strap holder on the back is somewhat flimsy and my goggles often slipped up over the top of the helmet.
the chin strap adjustment seems more fiddly than others.

Great quality simple helmet
Rossignol was not the first name I expected to come across in snow sports head gear, but having tried Smith and other label conscious brands - and not finding any real comfort - I tried the Pursuit MIPS. The lining is awesome, really warm and not abrasive - particularly on very cold ears! The chin strap adjusts easily and clips in firmly giving a secure feeling. Adjusting the lining to suit internal head fit is done by a simple and robust turn-button on the rear of the helmet - can be done wearing gloves too. The head vents seem to operate well and blocked the freezing february winds at the top of Borovets mountain. Slightly more than I intended to spend - but worth every extra pound. Thanks Rossignol !

Excellent priced MIPS helmet`
Great helmet - fist well and is very comfortable. My only niggle is that the goggle clip is not the best, but that is being very picky!

well priced MIPS helmet
I found this comfortable and well made and was happy with it as I wanted the MIPS system but mostly helmets with that are way more pricey. I had a Giro G9 before. The Giro was probably marginally more comfortable and also did hold the goggles on better, but the Rossignol is still good. On a pretty cold Alpine ski trip (-5 to -15'C with little sunshine and lots of daytime snow) it felt the right temperature for me without any hat underneath (but quite a lot of hair) with the vents closed and the built in furry ear and back of neck covers. The back of neck bit is a nice feature not found on every other helmet but if you wanted to take it off on a warmer trip it isn't straightforward. It is attached to the ear covers in one piece and can't be removed without cutting the fixings. This might be fine but it looks odd as the size adjuster is within it and relies on the neck cover to attach to the back of the helmet by velcro. I didn't try removing it. I packed the helmet in an endura cycle helmet case in my carry on to protect my investment (and head), and it fits fine with room for one or two socks or whatever. It might be ok like that in the checked luggage also but the case isn't totally rigid.

Really good lid.
Got one of these shortly before going away this year and it's been spot on. Obviously it's all about the fit and that doesn't guarantee it'll work for you, but for me it was great.
Not the lightest available, but by no means heavy, it's well padded and comfortable to wear on the mountain all day. The band adjustment is fine and the dial is on the outside of the padding, which is a simple thing some other lids get wrong. You may need to tweak it each time you put it on, as it releases reasonably easily, but it's no major issue.
The one little niggle was the peak; you get two in the box (they just pull off and push on) but they were both slightly oversize at the back, leading to the possibility of it scraping on your forehead. Easily fixed by removing some of the peak plastic with a Stanley blade, but they should make the part slightly smaller.
Other than that, top notch, and you get a bag for it too. Saved me from tree branches and a chair lift to the back of the head and it's barely got a mark on it.

Really comfortable helmet
This is my first ski helmet having been a skier for 25 years and I was concerned that I would feel "closed in" and that it would be uncomfortable and restrict my vision and hearing.
How wrong could I be?
The helmet fits perfectly, is warm without being hot and does not affect vision or hearing. After an hour wearing it I completely forgot I had it on.
