Freestyle Skis

Freestyle skiing is an exhilarating, dynamic and diverse style of skiing which incorporates tricks, jumps and various terrains. This style of skiing has rapidly grown in popularity, particularly among younger athletes, and is often associated with a vibrant culture that emphasises creativity and self-expression on the slopes. Our freestyle skis collection offers quick, nimble, versatile skis, which are both robust and flexible, so you can nail that half-pipe with confidence.

Freestyle skis are engineered for creativity and fun, with features tailor-made for tricks, jumps, and playing around in terrain parks or on natural features. The standout twin-tip design, where both the tips and tails curve upward, lets you take off, land, and ski backwards (switch) smoothly, opening up a whole world of tricks and manoeuvers. Many models use symmetrical or semi-symmetrical shapes to help you spin and land switch with confidence.

Perfectly suited for skiers who thrive on air time, rails, and a dynamic, expressive riding style, freestyle skis turn the ski area into your own playground. Whether you’re perfecting halfpipe tricks, tackling jumps, or just want a fun, nimble ride that lets you make the mountain yours. Shop now for the best in freestyle skiing!

Freeride skis are designed specifically for off-piste, ungroomed terrain and deep powder. They are wider than standard skis - often 100 mm or more at the waist - to provide extra surface area for better flotation, helping skiers stay on top of soft snow rather than sinking in.

Freeride skis are ideal for adventurous skiers who prefer exploring natural, unmarked slopes and deep powder over groomed runs. They suit those seeking freedom, creativity, and the thrill of navigating challenging, unpredictable mountain terrain.

Key features include a wide waist (typically 100–140 mm), pronounced tip and tail rocker for easier turning and floatation, and durable construction for rough terrain. Many have a less pronounced sidecut, allowing for long, smooth turns in deep snow.

Freeride skis are generally longer than standard skis - often 5 to 15 cm taller than the skier. This extra length enhances stability and floatation in powder, making them more effective for big descents and varied terrain.

While some modern freeride skis can handle groomed runs, they are optimised for off-piste and deep snow. Their wide design and rocker profile make them less agile and grippy on hardpack compared to carving or all-mountain skis, but they excel in powder and variable backcountry conditions.

Freeride skis are best for experienced skiers who are comfortable in off-piste environments, enjoy powder, and want to push boundaries beyond marked trails. They are less suited to beginners or those who primarily ski on-piste.
