The hardshell outer jacket, featuring a two-layered DryVent construction, is impressively lightweight, completely windproof, and waterproof while remaining highly breathable. It's equipped with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) and taped seams, ensuring top-tier moisture resistance. The adjustable hood provides protection from heavy rain, shielding your head effectively.
The inner jacket is constructed from a tear-resistant and durable outer material and insulated with PrimaLoft Black synthetic insulation, known for its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. It keeps you warm even in wet conditions without restricting your movement.

The North Face is named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. But it was actually founded in 1966 at an altitude of 150 feet above sea level, on a beach in San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their mission is to provide the best gear, support the preservation of the outdoors and inspire exploration. Judging from this year’s collection, which matches style and rugged protection, they’re still very much on track.
