Product information

A true go-to women's-specific park board, the Salomon Gypsy features a freestyle inspired true twin shape and significant technology to create the perfect flex for the park while retaining the right properties needed to ride it all over the mountain. Taking inspiration from the Villain's construction, the Salomon Gypsy features Salomon's Rock Out Camber (flat between the feet, camber under-foot, rocker out tip and tail) to provide a forgiving, catch-free ride while cruising that can still hold an edge on-piste and around the rest of the mountain when you need it.

Carbon inserts along the edges of the core, combined with rubber pads underneath the binding inserts are utilised to reduce chatter and reverb up through to your feet and knees, resulting in a damper ride in messier conditions and more comfortable landing both on and off features and side-hits.

The softer torsional flex of this board is offset by the Quadrilizer sidecut which is designed to create increased edge control when turning tighter at higher speed, while also being forgiving in slower-speed, cruisy turns (think the end of the day ride back to the chalet).

The Gypsy is a great snowboard, the easiest way to describe it in one sentence would be an technical park board which is still holds its mettle on the rest of the mountain. It's a personal favourite of Salomon Snowboards pro Desiree Melancon and it's easy to see why.

More about this brand

Few names are as inextricably linked to the Alps as Salomon, founded in 1947 in Annecy, the heart of the Alps. It started life in François Salomon’s small workshop with the help of his wife and son.  Salomon have been reinventing gear, clothing and themselves for decades. This season look out for their Ice Star 3-layer jacket. It’s an all-mountain shell that’s extremely versatile whether you’re cruising groomers or chasing powder lines in waist deep snow.
