The Recon MOD Live is the first GPS Micro Optics display for Uvex goggles. The Optic is unobtrusive like the dashboard in your car, and lets you view crystal clear graphics in real time, and is completely adjustable in full colour widescreen LCD. The Recon MOD Live comes with a bluetooth remote that looks sleek and easy to use with your gloves on. With it's highly durable Velcro straps it easily fits over your outerwear on the wrist, arm, belt or goggles. The MOD Live comes complete with built in Android platform with advanced apps like Resort Points of interest, Buddy tracking, text messaging, caller ID. All linking to your Android phone.

MOD Live includes all the features of MOD with additional goodies! Via Bluetooth MOD Live can connect wirelessly to smartphones allowing access to music playlists, text messages and caller ID. MOD Live will also connect wirelessly to video cameras converting the micro-LCD screen into a real-time viewfinder. You will now be able to see what you are filming in real-time and access playback and settings modes using the wireless remote. MOD Live users will also be able to take advantage of integrated resort information for navigation and buddy tracking with a bank of over 300 resort trail maps stored on the device. Finally, MOD Live runs off the Android Operating System. With app developers able to create their own apps next year, there is no limit to what can be created and uploaded to MOD Live.
MOD Live also stores all data and statistics which can be uploaded to Recon’s PC/MAC software - Recon HQ. Here you can re-live your runs overlaid on Google imagery, analyse your stats and also create highlights which can be shared on Recon HQ Online, Recon’s online sharing community. Recon HQ Online allows you to show off your stats and follow other people’s mountain adventures!
