The Men's Exile Jacket from Rab is a durable, wind-resistant Polartec Wind Pro fleeced jacket, designed for climbing and active use in varied conditions. The Exile jacket can be used as a great mid layer, perfect for any alpine climber or those who ski tour who are using the layering system and want an extra layer under their shell jacket.
It utilises a Polartec Wind Pro fabric with Hardface Technology, providing four times more wind resistance than traditional microfleece, whilst maintaining extremely high levels of breathability as well as durability. Climbing specific features include a lycra bound under-helmet hood and low bulk Polartec Power Stretch Pro inserts at the back of the neck and at the cuffs, to further increase freedom of movement. Polartec Hardface Technology increases water and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for dry weather climbing, as well as creating a smooth surface for easier layering in more adverse conditions.

Rab Carrington built his company on two things: A deep understanding of what climbers and mountaineers need, and a commitment to practical gear that works. Throughout much of the 1970’s Rob could be found on ground breaking expeditions around the world. From winter climbing in Scotland and the alps, to expeditions in the Himalaya, Rab gained first-hand experience and understanding what climbers need from their kit.
