Product information

The Women's Down With It Parka from Patagonia isn't your standard down parka. In addition to the standard features you might come to expect like hand warming pockets, removable hood and knee-length cut, it features a fully recycled construction, from the face fabric and lining to the down insulation within. This means a significantly reduced environmental footprint of the garment without sacraficing practicality or warmth. It features a wind and water resistant face fabric, an updated chevron-inspired baffle construction and a beautifully tapered fit around the waist you can stay warm and look good doing it.

The recycled down used is sourced from repurposed duvets and pillows which are inspected and cleaned by hand to ensure that the 600 fill-power insulation is warm, maintains it's loft and is extremely packable just like any other down product sourced traditionally. In an effort to further encourage responsible consumption of product, the Women's Down With It Parka is covered by Patagonia's Ironclad Guarantee; meaning you are covered for repairs free of charge provided that it will extend the life of the product, no matter the cause.

The Patagonia Down With It Parka is one of our favourite insulation pieces here at Snow + Rock this season and it's easy to see why. A stylish, warm and versatile parka with unparralleled construction quality and backed for life means you can keep pulling this out of your wardrobe every winter for years to come.

More about this brand

Patagonia Header Image

Patagonia are in the business to save our home planet. Their values reflect those of a business started by a band of climbers and surfers, and the minimalist style they promoted. The approach they take toward product design demonstrates a bias for simplicity and utility. Their criteria for the best product rests on function, repairability, and, foremost, durability. Among the most direct ways we can limit ecological impacts is with goods that last for generations or can be recycled so the materials in them remain in use. Making the best product matters for saving the planet.
