The Nordwand Light Pants have been developed for ambitious mountain sports enthusiasts. Their innovative material concept and additional features provide even more practical benefits for mountaineering and climbing. The new material blend makes these pants extremely light, highly breathable and yet robust. Exposed areas on the seat and lower legs are reinforced with an abrasion-proof 3-layer material. The remainder is made from a 2.5-layer material that combines a saving in weight with high vapor permeability.

One practical new feature is the full-length zippers. These allow you to slip the pants on or take them off while out and about, without having to take off your mountaineering boots. When they are not needed, these lightweight hard shell pants will fit in any backpack. An elasticated draw cord allows individual adjustment of the leg hems.
