The timeless Fjällräven classic jacket in a special edition with leather details and contrasting colours over the shoulders and on the sleeves. The model is based on the very first Greenland Jacket that Fjällräven's founder Åke Nordin made from a durable fabric for tents in his home in Örnsköldsvik in 1968. The original jacket was designed for climbers and only had chest pockets that were easily accessed when wearing a climbing harness, but later hand pockets were added to suit all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts.
This well-fitting women's model has a fixed hood and front zip that is hidden behind a protective flap with press buttons. The waist can be adjusted with buttons at the back. Small items can be stored in the chest pockets with flaps and there are also hand pockets with press buttons at the sides. Edging in natural-toned leather around the hood and sleeve cuffs. The sleeve cuffs can be adjusted with a button.
The Women's Greenland No. 1 Jacket Special Edition is made from wind and water resistant G-1000 Eco in recycled polyester and organic cotton. The hardwearing fabric effectively ventilates out moisture when you are active. For extra protection against wind and water, it can be impregnated with Greenland Wax, which will also increase its lifespan.
For every Greenland No. 1 Special Edition that is sold, five euros goes to research and support projects that help preserve the critically endangered Scandinavian arctic fox population.
