A knee-length cape with down padding inspired by the Sami people's multifaceted and practical Luhkka. It works just as well as an outer garment during the autumn and spring, as a reinforcement garment over regular winter clothing in cold winter weather – as the Sami have always used it. When worn over regular shell garments it provides flexible protection against cold temperatures and wind, and any snow can easily be shaken off before going indoors.
The Men's Luhkka Down is made from durable, wind and water resistant G-1000 and lined with pliant Pertex Quantum. It is insulated with high-quality down and has a fixed, adjustable hood with detachable synthetic fur edging with a reflective band at the back. The half-length zip's opening has a gusset in G-1000 that is lined with soft fleece on the inside. There is a chest pocket and lower down a fleece-lined kangaroo pocket. Press buttons at the wrists keep the garment in place when moving about.
