The Ayacucho Women's Camps Bay trousers are good-looking summer trousers with a unique cooling effect. The fabric is made of a Tencel and cotton mix. Tencel is composed of natural fibres, made from trees. It has a cooling effect and absorbs moisture. What's more, its unique moisture-regulating and antibacterial properties limit the development of unpleasant odours, without any chemical treatment. Ideal for long journeys through places where you don’t have direct access to washing facilities.
In addition to their cooling effect, these trousers have handy storage possibilities to hold all your little essentials. The spacious thigh pocket is strategically positioned so you can grab a hiking map quickly and easily. The two back pockets close with zips. The trouser legs have articulated knees, too, so you can bend your legs without resistance. Ideal on summer city breaks, country walks and hikes. These long trousers have an elasticated waistband.
Ayacucho makes quality, high performance outdoor technical clothing, built to last a generation.
Ayacucho products feature a variety of clever materials and treatments to maximise both comfort and performance, come rain, shine or snow. The integration of Tencel and bamboo, for example, in their Tropical clothing will reduce perspiration and help to keep mosquitos at bay; UV resistant materials offer protection from the sun; and responsibly sourced down in their insulated products ensures you stay warm, whatever the conditions.
Ayacucho cares for animals, and for the environment
They don’t use down obtained from live plucking, and selected Ayacucho® items are made using natural materials such as bamboo. And water repellent clothing is finished with an environmentally friendly Bionic Finish Eco process.
Working towards a fairer world for all
All Ayacucho products – except for bonnets and scarves – are made in Asia, in factories that comply with the BSCI code, ensuring good working conditions and a fair wage for workers.
