Light, breathable, hooded men’s WINDSTOPPER® jacket provides wind protection and water repellency around town.
Technical performance and clean, urban ready styling come together in the Solano Jacket. Made from P50p WINDSTOPPER® 2L shell fabric, the Solano blocks the wind, resists rain and snow and balances protection with a high degree of breathability. A brushed polyester lining wicks moisture and adds light insulation.
BUILT TO MOVE
Creating a jacket that functions as day to day urban wear and excels during short bike rides around town means balancing features that deliver performance on the move without overwhelming the jacket’s clean look. Designed to fit under a bike helmet, the fully lined StormHood™ hood easily cinches for a secure fit with enhanced peripheral vision. The stretch gussets at the cuffs secure the fit without binding, nylon lined sleeves provide comfort and snag free on/off, and the reflective logo adds an element of safety in low light.
The Solano’s design is streamlined and urban. The Athletic fit offers clean, streamlined lines and keeps the WINDSTOPPER® fabric close to the body to help maximize breathability. Freedom of movement, an Arc’teryx essential, is built in with articulated patterning and gusseted underarms. The hip length cut provides added coverage.

Arc'teryx challenges what exists, manufacturing new ideas is their culture. Passion and curiosity fuel a continual drive to explore, to push the boundaries of what is known, regardless of assumptions. Founded by Vancouver climbers in 1989, Arc’teryx has but one single goal; to create equipment that enables a person to be immersed in the moment of doing, regardless of external conditions.
Their Design Centre is a hive of likeminded individuals, a hands-on think tank of active designers, materials experts, pattern makers and product developers who know what they want, how it will be used and why it has to work. Arc’teryx's dedication to craftsmanship is expressed through their manufacturing processes, quality and integrity can only be achieved through effective partnership with their factories and suppliers.
Arc’teryx strive to deliver products that are as good as they can possibly be, so that they perform over time and beyond expectation, this is the heart of what Arc'teryx does and the roots of the company — to create what does not yet exist.
