Rugged, comfortable climbing pants, the Men's Texada Pants are built to take on boulders and crags, but also deliver an updated casual style that works in town. Made from a hardwearing stretch cotton canvas, they withstands abrasion, moves with the body, and provides cool, natural fibre comfort. Pockets are purposeful, and carry the essentials needed while climbing and the gear needed for daily life. The hand pockets and back pockets stay out the way of a harness, and zipped thigh pocket is always easily accessible.
The Texada are carefully designed to deliver the dynamic freedom that climbers need. The regular fit is athletic and streamlined, but not constricting. Patterned with aggressive articulation in the knees and seat, and built with a gusseted crotch, the Texada delivers exceptional ergonomic performance.
The low profile waist adjuster, the same as found on many Arc'teryx technical pants, lies comfortably under a harness while providing a secure, comfortable fit. At the hem, drawcords can be cinched to pull the cuffs out the way to improve line of sight to the feet and secure the pant below the knee on warmer days.
Arc'teryx challenges what exists, manufacturing new ideas is their culture. Passion and curiosity fuel a continual drive to explore, to push the boundaries of what is known, regardless of assumptions.
Founded by Vancouver climbers in 1989, Arc’teryx has but one single goal, to create equipment that enables a person to be immersed in the moment of doing, regardless of external conditions.
Their Design Centre is a hive of likeminded individuals, a hands-on think tank of active designers, materials experts, pattern makers and product developers who know what they want, how it will be used and why it has to work. Arc’teryx dedication to craftsmanship is express through their manufacturing processes, quality and integrity can only be achieced through effective partnership with their factories and suppliers.
