Designed as a summit pack that will perform on rapid ascents in alpine environments, the Cierzo 18 Rucksack delivers 18 litres of capacity with carefully selected features for just 370 grams of weight. The pack is made from a high-tenacity nylon fabric that provides durability and tear resistance, and has a water repellent finish and polyurethane coating for weather resistance.
Sized to carry the tools and gear required for a single-pitch push, the Cierzo's main compartment holds an insulation layer and hardshell, energy foods, first aid necessities, navigation tools, and gloves and hat. Hydration bladder compatible, it has internal clip that secures the reservoir to prevent blockages and a HydroPort tube passage.
The ingenious SwiftCord drawstring serves a compression system and carrying tool. It can secure a hardshell or belay parka, crampons, or sit pad. Two ultralight aluminum toggles work with the system to carry ice or mountaineering tools. If not needed, the SwiftCord can be removed to further streamline the Cierzo's profile. A compact external pocket stashes small necessities, and the adjustable top strap can secure a rope or compress the pack when carrying lower volume loads.

Arc'teryx challenges what exists, manufacturing new ideas is their culture. Passion and curiosity fuel a continual drive to explore, to push the boundaries of what is known, regardless of assumptions. Founded by Vancouver climbers in 1989, Arc’teryx has but one single goal; to create equipment that enables a person to be immersed in the moment of doing, regardless of external conditions.
Their Design Centre is a hive of likeminded individuals, a hands-on think tank of active designers, materials experts, pattern makers and product developers who know what they want, how it will be used and why it has to work. Arc’teryx's dedication to craftsmanship is expressed through their manufacturing processes, quality and integrity can only be achieved through effective partnership with their factories and suppliers.
Arc’teryx strive to deliver products that are as good as they can possibly be, so that they perform over time and beyond expectation, this is the heart of what Arc'teryx does and the roots of the company — to create what does not yet exist.
