Love this jacket, shame it sheds its feathers!
I absolutely love this coat, it's warm, puffy - yet flattering, fit's well and isn't too bulky. I wanted a coat guaranteed to keep me warm for skiing Feb-April, and it is just that.
I knew this coat was snow proof - not rain proof - when I bought it, but when it's a warmer-than-average snowy day in the Alps, close to the end of the season it did turn wet and soggy. Having said this, all other coats on this particular day were equally as drenched!
The feathers poke through the fabric a lot of the time. I did try to tease them back in from the inside but this wasn't always possible. Also, the wadding on the inside of the outer-most fabric does seem to be appearing at some of the seams which doesn't look very good.
Overall, a fabulous coat, which I love and goes really well with close fitting ski trousers.

Excellent
This coat was my first North Face purchase......but it certainly won't be my last! A beautiful coat, so warm and so lightweight, you don't even know you've got it on, fantastic, love it!
