Wore as a middle layer and was very comfortable I really like this fleece - I wore this over a base layer and it was warm but felt breathable too. It is quite light so I could keep it on alone indoors in very cold weather to stay warm but then put fleece jacket over it and another coat over that before venturing outdoors. Having said that I was in fairly extreme cold conditions at times and also a naturally cold person so for some people this fleece on its own may be fine without all the extra layers and its definitely suited to hiking etc in my opinion and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a light layer or middle layer too. 21 February 2013
