The North Face Waterproof Duffel is a totally waterproof adventure cargo bag made using a bombproof waterproof double ripstop nylon fabric with a PU coating and taped/welded seams. It also uses the technical TIZIP WaterSeal closure, which is air and watertight like a diver's dry suit, to keep valuables and gear dry.

  • Volume: 40 litres
  • Fabrics: 420D nylon double ripstop with a double PU coating
  • Features

    • Fully waterproof duffel.
    • RF welded seams.
    • Double-coated waterproof fabric.
    • Waterproof TIZIP Water Seal 10 zipper.
    • Compression straps and daisy chains.

RF welded seamsFuses seams together by applying Radio Frequency energy to the area to be joined. The resulting weld can be as strong as the original materials, and is much stronger and more durable than chemical welding.
TIZIP Water Seal 10 zipperMade from a strong, highly abrasion resistant plastic coil zipper on a high strength fabric, with every coil half safely embedded and secured in a plastic profile. When closed, the sealing lips above and below the coil are compressed making a perfect seal, while its physical design increases the seal strength when the pressure is raised or when cross tension is applied, as both actions lead to an increased mechanical pressure on the top sealing lip.
