Glossary

2L GORE-TEX® Performance Shell:Designed for a wide range of outdoor activities, GORE-TEX® Performance Shell provides breathable comfort and durably waterproof protection. Its 2-layer construction features a specific GORE-TEX® membrane bonded to a high performance outer material and protected on the inside by a separate lining. In addition, special GORE-SEAM® tape technology ensures all seams are durably waterproof.
Recco® avalanche rescue reflector:Using sophisticated radar technology, the Recco reflector forms the passive element of a 2-part avalanche search system. Ski resorts and mountain rescue teams carry Recco detectors, which send out a search signal, and the Recco reflector bounces back a directional signal that directs the rescuer straight to the reflector. More than 600 resorts and rescue services around the world use the Recco Rescue System as part of their immediate response.
Pant-a-locks:This system uses snaps on the base of the powder-skirt to clip onto the belt loops of your ski pants. It works with most TNF pants, but also some other pants, and can also be clipped onto a belt.
