Very warm and comfortable
This jacket met all my needs, it gives you the coverage and 80% of the warmth of a parker, i.e. warm enough for pretty much any scenario. However, it also has the functionality of a ski jacket. Waterproof, breathable and allows you to move. I wanted to buy a parker and a new ski jacket and I only had to buy this one.

North Face Amongstit Coat
Not a bad replacement for my beloved but very old Rip Curl ski jacket. I have felt a bit chilly just one or two times in it but on the whole it does what was expected. I like the over groin and backside cover for those cold cold days and the fluffy hood bugs me a bit and makes me feel a bit of a wannabe arctic explorer. All in all a great waterproof and windproof coat for the money. Not sure about the shelf-life of the velcro flaps, but we'll see.
