Superfeet Red Hot Outlast
Superfeet Red Hot Outlast 2 2
Product is definitely worth a try If like me you have problems in getting the fit right in boots these do help. This is my third pair of Superfeet, these to use for Skiing/winter mountaineering. The others I've put to use for three season hiking and climbing. While they have not completely eliminated all pain in the rigid boots, they have extended the range significantly and have largely reduced the major problems I had. In my summer hiking boots they've cured altogether! There are plenty of other recommendations for these to be found and I would say give them a try. Not the cheapest but they do seem to make the most difference. 03 June 2013
Superfeet RedHots saved my feet! Superfeet RedHots â A must buy if you have high arches and problems with your ski/snowboard boots. At the beginning of the year I decided to buy some new snowboard boots and have them properly fitted as I was apparently wearing some which were a size too big. I had tried on several pairs and decided on a pair which fit me perfectly in the shop. They were very comfortable boots but unfortunately problems started when I took them out on the piste/snowdomes, after about only 20 minutes my toes would become numb and after about half an hour they would start getting painful to the point that I would have to take my boots off for a few minutes to let them recover and continue. A friend of mine said numb toes are normal in new boots and he suggested to keep wearing them so that they would loosen up over time and become more comfortable, but after going out on the piste for the 3rd week and still having the same toe numbing problems this obviously hadnât worked. For sure the boots became a little bit softer, but in this case it only gave my toes about 10 minutes extra in the end. I also tried lacing up the boots in loads of different ways to relieve pressure, but this still didnât make much difference and I almost considered buying a new pair of boots. Then one day while I was on a snowboarding lesson, I mentioned this problem to the instructor as I had to take my boots off for a few minutes half way through the session. He seemed to have an idea of what it might be and told me to check out the Superfeet insoles, so I popped into Snow and Rock and found some Superfeet RedHot insoles. A member of staff was quick to help out and get them fitted into my boots. When I went out and tried them I was amazed at the difference, now my toes donât get painful, they still get a little bit numb, but only after about 2 hours! The problem wasnât the boot size or lace tightness, it turned out that it was the shape of my feet causing the problem, I happen to have fairly high arches and with normal insoles my feet were compressing and âspreadingâ into the boot too much causing the pain. The RedHot insoles support my feet where is necessary and totally relieve the toe pain, and as for performance, there does seem to be a bit more of a solid foot-board feel, but I havenât had chance to test them out on the real snow yet. I would totally recommend Superfeet RedHots to any snowboarder or skier with high arches who are experiencing the same problem as I had, and even if youâre not having any foot or boot problems and just want to get a bit more performance from your boots, check out the Superfeet insoles, they are a great product that can increase the comfort and performance of any boot and they donât cost an arm and a leg! Thanks to Snow&Rock and their staff for supplying and fitting the RedHot insoles and thanks to Superfeet for creating them. 08 October 2012
