Rated 5 out of 5 by Great out Very comfortable, with more room in the toebox than the Ganda. Straight out of the box with no break in Super mountaineering sole very trusting on technical routes 13 April 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by La sportiva Great product at a an adorable price due to big discount on full price. 09 March 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Overall lacking in key areas Id say this boot is one of the most comfortable and lightweight boots I've ever had. However I'm really not impressed with the non durability of the rubber outters that surround the shoe. Although I tend to use my boots quite heavily for climbing and hiking it does still not warrant the wear and tear that has been encurred with in 2-3 weeks of use. The outer rubber shields are already becoming unattached. Not acceptable from La Sportiva in my opinion. This will certainly not stop me from buying La sportiva again that's for sure, although this particular boot will not be on my list. It's a shame as everything ales about this boot is exceptional, just the glue used to stick the rubber down is not up to standard. 17 November 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great boot but....... I bought these boots recently from Snow and Rock, they were a great price here and a top quality boot. I'd normally have had no issue in giving a five star rating but I do just have a couple of very small moans, 'means they get a 4..... 1, These boots are a very narrow fit. I don't have particularly wide feet and only choose normal width fitting shoes / boots, that said these are way more narrow than you'd expect and are a shade tight, 2, They are WELL stiff when new, 'bit like walking around with floor boards attached to the soles of your feet (and I read a review 'elsewhere that said theirs had taken circa 100 miles to get properly comfy), 3, They don't have a sewn in tongue, rather a loose one, no massive issue but expect wet feet when it gets soggy underfoot, Other than that a real good buy, and one I'd buy again in a flash, the width issue can be attended by loosening the very adjustable lace system (but you should know they are very narrow).... mine (after a good deal of wear) are getting very comfortable now, and really they look too good to get too wet & muddy, so why get wet feet on account of a loose tongue!! Go and buy 'em!! 16 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by good. but should be for the £$ Good boot. comfortable and reliable on mixed ground. Can be sweaty! A great approach boot with good grip in all conditions. 10 March 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Happy Feet Cracking kit; quality, fit and comfort. Though naturally this sort of quality tends to come at a price! Would I buy again............ YES I WOULD :) 22 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stonking boot Can't fault it. Asymmetric lacing means boot fits very well, which is critical when teaching at the crag. Thrilled with quality. Chap who sold them counselled against using uppermost lace eyeholes saying they weren't fit for purpose, but I've had no dramas so far. Great boots. 16 July 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Grand Randonnee to E3 This is my second pair of Ganda Guides and they are now my go to footwear for cragging, hiking and mountainbiking. Perfect on the GR5 and surefooted on run out E3's, one pair of boots for your alpine summer adventure. 10 June 2013

  • UPPER: White Wash Leather/Vibram? rubber rands/Synthetic Leather
  • Mid-height upper protects the ankles and provides excellent stability on long approaches
  • CONSTRUCTION: Slip Lasted (forefoot)/Board Lasted (back half) - The ultimate blend of mountain boot and climbing shoe construction
  • Anatomically sculpted PU Lite/EVA midsole provides great cushioning and long lasting support
  • Mesh lining - heel only
  • Approach Tech last
  • Vibram Idro-Frip V-Smear? Impact Break System sole
  • Weight: 394g - size 42

Slip lasted:The method of footwear construction in which the upper is sewn into a sock and then slipped onto the last. Slip lasted shoes normally do not have an insole and get their "stiffness" from the midsole which is located just above the outsole. Slip lasted shoes tend to be sensitive and less stiff than board lasted shoes.
Board lasted:The method of crafting shoes around the insole (also called the board). In board lasting the insole is fixed to the last/form and then the upper of the shoe is wrapped around this assembly. In the final step the midsole, rands and finally the outsole are attached to the shoe.
Vibram:High quality rubber soles, renowned for durability and stability.
Impact Brake System:The inclined position of the lugs combined with the shock absorbing PU midsole reduce by 20% the impact that the foot, leg and back endure with each step while walking on hard ground. The special position of the lugs also offers superior grip on very steep terrain, while the innovative design of the heel improves downhill braking efficiency.
