Good product I used this as a liner for summit night and my feet were warm. I also wore it on its on during day time when weather was bit hot and I was sweating a bit in these. Overall I am very happy with the fit and as a liner for cold weather. 16 March 2015
warm and cormfortable but didnt help me the socks were warm and comfortable but I had bought them to go under a pair of smartwool skisocks as I feel the cold normally but REALLY feel it in cold temperatures when skiing. In this instance they didn't give me anything more really than the ski socks alone, had to use hotties. not that I wouldn't recommend them just wouldn't go out of my way to recommend them, wouldn't rave about them 09 March 2015
The Socks I use everyday and have done ever since my first pair...!!! These are possibly the most universal sock I know. Plain black and smart that you can wear them with a Tuxedo as they are light enough and smart. Strong enough and performance enough that you can wear them as the linger under your mountaineering socks. I use them for everything and I only own these sock now. Unless I have my Ski, hiking or mountaineering socks and I wear these underneath. So move away from cotton socks and get these ASAP you will love the difference. Plus no one will know you are wearing such technical socks..!!! 26 January 2015
Excellent Very good sock, worked perfectly in new boots with the merino smartwool midweight sock. I would definitely recommend these as a base sock because of their comfort. I walked 12 miles in new boots with these socks and I was nothing but impressed. 30 April 2013
Ideal for long treks I bought these socks in advance of a 9 day trek in the Himalayas. My main hope was that they would: (a) keep my feet warm; and (b) prevent rubbing/blisters. Not only did they do this admirably, they also have an extra bonus feature - they are quick drying, in freezing conditions. This was extremely useful, as I ended up wearing the socks everyday and, without washing them, things could have got nasty! If anyone is heading off on a similar adventure, I would certainly recommend taking a pair of these socks. 14 November 2012
Good socks - would recommend Bought these to go under scarpa B2 snow climbing boots. Great fit, no hard spots or rucking, very warm, no sign of sogginess after a long day's walking. 31 August 2012
