Meryl Actisystem StretchA fabric with a cotton feel that is light, soft, very tear proof and shape-retaining. With outstanding UV protection and moisture transport, the material is perfect for shirts for active outdoor sports. The Meryl SkinLife finish provides a lasting antibacterial effect.
Meryl SkinLifeA finish that uses silver ion technology, and is inherent within the fibres not deposited on the fabric's surface, so remains present after more than 30 washes, or to the end of the garment's life. It has permanent bacteriostatic and anti-odour properties and has been engineered and tested specifically for garments that come in close contact with the skin naturally eliminating bacteria while providing both comfort and performance. Meryl Skinlife is not a bactericide - It does not decrease the amount of bacteria to a level that is lower than that which is normally present on the skin.
BacteriostaticMaintains a natural balance of bacteria on the skin regardless of activity level. The human skin normally has a bacteria presence. A high level of bacteria, as well as a complete absence, creates various problems (allergy, odour etc).
