this shoe is excellent Value
after having a Salomon boot, I bought the scarpa and I am very pleased with my decision, they are more solid, easier to lace up and more comfortable. the only problem is that one of the laces has lost the plastic bit at the end, hence the slightly lower mark of good.

overall comfort excellant
The boots are very comfortable and light. First hike in them was very wet cold day they kept my feet dry and warm, other people complained of wet feet.

Very comfortable, sturdy, practical boots
I was apprehensive about changing my walking boots as my previous boots had grown so comfortable after 10 years of frequent use. The expert advice and support i was given when trying new boots meant that i came away confident that i had bought a pair which would give me many more hours of comfortable walking. After wearing them around the house and for short trips down the road I launched into a 6 mile walk and found them extremely comfortable and supportive. I look forward to many years of long distance walking using these boots.

Lightweight and Waterproof
The Scarpa ZG65 is the epitomie of lightweight walking boots. "ZG" standing for "Zero Gravity" does not fail on its promises. This is my go-to boot when looking at taking a few hours out on the hills of Snowdon, or a quick dash up the Peaks. Hard wearing Vibram sole proves adequate shock absorbtion and long lasting durabilty. Extra tacky in the wet with great performance allround. Goretex lining provides waterproof seal keeping water out after jumping through the big puddles, or bog-trotting. This boot is perfect for the beginner outdoor enthusiast that wants a pair of boots that will withstand the test of time. The boot is recommended for low level walking or hiking as the soft sole cant protect against anything too technical.
