Rated 4 out of 5Â by RichE35 A stable and comfortable shoe
A very comfortable shoe that offers great support. The sole of the shoe is firm enough to be used for scrambling and a bit of bouldering. The shoe has a comfortable feel and is very well suited for a days walking over light terrain.

Switching to these shoes from a pair of karrimoor aproach shoes was like night and day. The fit, and the quality is vastly superior.
After a month they are wearing in well and still look good even after a few scrapes against rocks and gravel thanks to the rubber toe guards. The shoe still supports my feet and have not become loose or otherwise a burden while walking.
A minor annoyance (if you can call it one) is the colouring in the blue suede. This runs when wet, so the threads and laces dull quite quickly. I don't think this is enough of a show stopper to not consider a purchase, as the color has dulled evenly.
While these won't replace more heavy duty aproach shoes for the more adventurous, they are a well suited for about town and more general walks on well troden paths.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tony968 Great comfort and style
I bought these shoes as an alternative to new trainers as I can't seem to find a style of trainers that I'm happy with. I bought them on looks ans style but after two days solid walking at a motor racing event I was quick to realise how comfortable they are.
A really great product.

They don't come in half sizes but if like me you are normally 9.5, a size 10 with additional insoles fit really well whereas size 9's are too small

I kept looking at these shoes but resisted trying them on as I have too many similar pairs. But knowing how well Scarpas fit my feet, I finally surrendered. As soon as I put them on, it was sheer bliss. The price is pretty standard for a shoe with these features. They have the typical Scarpa good cradling around the cuff, but are wider in the forefoot than usual (which is a good thing for me). They would make a fairly good approach shoe due to the sole unit, to-the-toe lacing and solid rand, but because they look so cool, I will just wear them for everything - except swimming, that would just be silly!

Really glad I got these. Good grip in the wet and can wear all day long no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Chris67 Lightweight but great build quality.
I bought a pair of Scarpa walking boots about eight years ago from Snow and Rock and must have walked hundreds of miles in them. Although I have to admit that I am a little obsessive about caring for them after each walking trip, they are still almost like new. Since then I have had several pairs of Scarpa shoes each of which has been an immediate favourite, they just never fail to impress both in terms of comfort (never one blister) and of quality. These lightweight suede shoes are no exception and though they make no claims to being a walking shoe I have just returned from a 14 mile walk in the peak district ( dry weather) and yet again I'm really impressed with Scarpa. Will definitely stick with this brand.

This shoe feels robust without being heavy. Has felt great for urban walking. For me this product is a cross between a sports shoe and approach shoe
