These have been a bit of a revelation. I already own a pair of Scarpa SL leather boots but wanted to try something lightweight for UK hillwalking. Although these are advertised as a "beginners' boot" I found them to be a lot better than that. During a week's wet and fairly tough walking in the Lake District they were comfortable straight of the box. Waterproofing and breathability were both great. Not as stiff as my leather boots, but still very supportive and I found I grew to like the bit of extra flex - my feet certainly felt a lot less beaten up at the end of the day. Typically narrow Scarpa fit, and found adding a decent footbed helped improved things even further.
I really can't see me going back to my leather Scarpas for anything other than winter hillwalking in bad weather. Highly recommended!

Bought these on store, took them around town and then on a 10 mile hike. They were comfortable from the first minute. No break in at all

Really good boots. Like them so much this is my third pair. Boots are a very personal thing, Scarpa just happen to fir me really well. Waterproof, good grip and sound stitching (unlike some other boots I've had in the past).

I bought these boots for a hiking trip to Scotland. They are comfortable and well made. Several of my friends even remarked 'nice boots Jon', so I guess they look good too!

I bought the boots for a walking holiday in Scotland. I thought it would be good to wear them in a bit, so wore them walking around Edinburgh and Glasgow, they were great to wear, very comfortable, easy to get off and on, and sort of look like trainers. Amazingly I did not get any blisters!
On the main part of holiday we walked up a mountain that was rocky, and parts covered in at least 20-30cm of snow. My feet were warm, and I had great grip on the rocks. I did sort off fall over, but think the boots stopped me hurting my ankle. Next to Loch Ness we walked up the mountain, which was pretty boggy, I got covered in mud but the mud dried and fell off. The water from the bog didn't get into the boot.
Snow and Rock price matched the boots, and they were a great buy. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After taking home and trying out about 6 different boots, these ones fit!
I have difficult feet - narrowish and low volume, with a straight big toe, so it is a battle to find a comfortable boot that fits and is suitable for general hiking.
These ones are great - supportive, firm but not too rigid, lace up well and very comfortable.
