great boot
very comfortable performance boot. Not to stiff so you can play in the moguls with ease as well.

Definitely has improved my skiing
I bought these boots straight off the shelf. They fitted like a glove without any customisation. Much tighter and stiffer than my old boots but they bedded in after 3 or 4 days and they are now very comfortable. I felt so much more confident in my high speed carves - my skis are so much more responsive. I can't wait for my next trip - just 5 days away now. A great boot

Control, comfort and style
Control, comfort and style.
The feel of the ski over piste, bumps or powder is fantastic, allowing fingertip-like control of the ski, while still cushioning the sole. The stiffness may be too much for some beginner/low mid skiers, but this adds to control for advanced/experts.After a couple of days skiing in these boots, they just get more and more comfortable (even walking to the piste!).
The boots picked up more than a few great comments from other guests in the skiroom and I have to agree they look great.

All round great boot, comfortable and warm!
I have always suffered because I have low volume feet with straight on toes. The boot fitter immediately selected a choice of three potential boots and after trying all three it was clear the Salomon was the one which gave the best fit.
What amazed me was the lightness of the boot compared with my old Rossignol 90s. I would say they are 40% lighter. The fit is excellent, entry and exit very easy and once the boot and liner are heated and moulded the fit is close, but comfortable.
After a week of skiing great powder in the three valleys I can only say that they performed well, with excellent feeling underfoot. There was a slight niggle from the tongues, which felt slightly hard against my shins, but I have skin and bone legs and after a few days that passed. (TBF I was probably leaning on the boot too much early in the week and it went as my skiing improved!)
If you do have legs which need a "canted" boot, do go for the 130 model as this one does not have a canting option.

Does what it says on the box!
I bought these as my second ever pair, upgrading from my "beginner" boots which I had for ten years! I am never going to be a downhill racer or super skier, however I wanted boots which where better than I am! no more excuses for my poor skiing!
I chose these because of the custom fitting, i.e. ability to mould the entire boot to fit the foot. At 55 years of age my feet have acquired all sorts of odd lumps and bumps. The process at Rock& Snow in Hemel Hempstead was very good, thorough and friendly.
A week later I took them skiing. and I was rubbish on the first day. All the warnings that new boots change the way you ski turned out to be true. It did also take perhaps four days for the boot liners to fully bed in. By the end of the week I had forgotten I was wearing new ski boots, except that I just felt so much more in contact and control of the ski and snow. Fantastic.
I would recommend these boots to anyone looking for similar improvements in skiing and indeed comfort.
Oh and they look so funky cool!

Really snug but comfy
A note to remember though. I would advise not to take them off while in a ski lift as the cold tend to make these stiffer than my Nordicas making them really stiff and difficult to put them back on.

Fantastic boot!
I have just finished skiing a week in these boots and they are fantastic. I had them heat treated to mould to my feet so they are very comfortable despite being stiff race boots.
Would only recommend them to experienced skiers who want a stiffer boot that sacrifices complete soft boot comfort.

Very happy with the response and cutting edge features
Initially I was blown away by the new, cool, matt look of this boot, you'lll definately not go unoticed on the piste.
By no means was i dissapointed with the performance either-
This boot provides a snug fit with a response that is 'second to none'.
Regarding the price of the boot: You really do pay for what you get, that being ultimate performance and will keep you skiing those big steep runs all day long without too much 'give'.
Just returned from france and enjoyed so much have booked again.
Itching to get back out on the piste!
