Really good trail running shoe
My second pair of Salomon XA Pros after wearing out my first pair. They were red & while the grey & green is ok, not as cool

Very happy with my purchase
This is a great trek/trail runner. The quality and comfort are superb. I have only used the runner for light trekking and running so far but they have performed very well. I have confidence in the runner performing for all of my needs

A good walking shoe, not a great walking shoe
Overall a good shoe - comfortable, I brought a size and a half bigger than my street shoe and I am never aware of the shoes when walking on easy terrain [grass / forest/ made up paths] The Kevlar lacing system is very good pulling up evenly and staying where it is locked.
The only slight negatives are the complete lack of water resistance - look at a puddle and you are going to have a wet foot and the top of the shoe by the ankle is showing signs of wear after only about 20/25 miles of easy terrain. The soles are also looking well used already - I don't expect the shoes to last more than about 100/150 miles at the current rate.
But these are still good shoes to walk in.

Excellent trail shoe for all grades
My first trail shoe was the old version of this model and they safely guided me around my first 50 mile trail run in the Lakes with consummate ease, over open moor, bogs and the rocky outcrops of the Scafell range. I have since bought this new model on wearing out my old shoes and these are even better. Not only are they brilliant for long distance trail races but they fit the bill as an every day running shoe, along the coast or through lowland woods and fields, although I would recommend only using them on roads when absolutely necessary as the rubber wears fairly quick on this surface. They have an excellent mid sole to prevent pronation which I used to have serious trouble with, and the tread is excellent for all surfaces. They have a very light feel (and for me at least feel like a natural extension of my foot) but at the same time are strong and rugged, not flimsy, offering confidence under foot. An excellent buy that I would recommend to all.

Salomon still at the top
Having just started running again after a very long break. I tried a couple of other brands and decided to go back to what I knew. Being on a tight budget like most families I just waited till the sales. These shoes are the most comfortable running shoes I've had. They are used for trail and some road, working superbly, they offer a good level of grip and more importantly support.

Solid comfortable shoe for that will help you deliver great performance
It is not a secret that shoes are one of the most important part in runner equipment. This model will serve best beginning up to intermediate runners.
It has comfortable airbag + nice couching making it comfortable experience even with hard outside weather conditions.
Grat price to value ratio!
