The Salomon BBR 8.9 is the latest ground breaking innovation from Salomon. A truly unique ski, it is incredibly playful, hugely versatile and designed to give new experiences and sensations to a huge variety of skiers. Part of our freeride category, the BBR 8.9 is the stiffer and wider of the 2 models in the range, and features a patented “V” shape, oversized tip, and rocker construction that enable it to carve beautifully on piste, float and glide in fresh snow yet still give amazing amounts of confidence on variable or hard pack snow.

Laminated Sandwich Sidewall construction provides extraordinarily smooth ski to snow contact and allows the ski to adapt to any terrain.

Full Wood Core:

Wood construction from tip to tail offers optimum stability and powerful rebound. It also maximizes ski to snow contact and filters vibration.

Reinforcement.

Oversized Pulse Pad:

Elastomer layer running along the edge an the whole front part of the ski. Provides shock absorption and anti-vibration for smoother and softer ski to snow contact.

Total Edge Reinforcement:

Fibre reinforcement laid directly on the edges for improved stiffness, durability and grip.
