Red Chili Spirit Velcro Impact Rock Shoe
Good starter shoe...
Like all beginner climbers I went through the toes of this shoe within 8-9 months - but that was more my scrambling technique than the quality of shoes.
These were very comfortable and I really prefer the Velcro to laces. Only problem I found was smell, the material they're made from seems to unavoidably retain a bad odour.

I bought these as an upgrade from some very cheap entry level shoes. The difference in every aspect is incredible. Needless to say, these might not be for everyone based solely on the individual fit, but certainly ones to try before going ahead with a purchase. The Velcro 'laces' mean the fit is nice and snug, and the slightly more pointed toe works really well for me. Having bmc discount also meant the sting was taken out of the price a little as well. Very happy!

A good purchase
These shoes are comfortable and give good grip and flexibility when climbing/bouldering.

Solid and performing
Initially I was quite sceptic about getting these shoes. Without the laces I didn't expect them to hold the foot well. But they perform better than expects. Very good hill support and nose grip.

Red chilli spirit
The shoe was comfy from the off. The only disappointment is that the inside edge seems to have degraded far too quickly.

Great all round climbing shoe
I Bought the exact same pair again due to performance, durability, comfort and good fitting. I climbed using my last pair for over one and a half years, indoors and outdoors. The only reason why I needed to change was due to the smell which us unavoidable, other than that reason they were in good condition.

Comfortable all rounder
I am a beginning rock climber and purchased this pair of shoes to replace a pair of Boreals that did not suit my foot shape. These shoes have been a revelation - having climbed in the 90s, where climbing shoes were extremely uncomfortable, I had not expected the level of comfort that more modern shoes have to offer. The shoes perform well too - at least to my newbie mind! I suspect it will be a long time yet before I can blame my shoes for a lack of success on the boulders! It was pointed out to me though, that the last is not the most aggressive - this might not be the shoes for edging on tiny holds. I look forward to proving the assistant wrong! Definitely recommended.

Very reliable climbing shoe, transitions indoor/outdoor well.
Always happy with the Red Chili shoe. It transitions from short indoor climbing to more demanding, longer use outdoor climbing as well. Shoe molds well to foot after first few uses and maintains its rigidity, but offers comfort. Will do for and beginner and intermediate climbers.
