great product, i find that i don't like the Velcro type of fastenings so i found these on the internet, for a great price. i would recommend these to a friend because they are great comfort, long lasting and good quality.

Fantastic value entry shoe.
After getting quite obsessed with my weekly trips to the climbing wall, I thought it was about time I invested in a good pair of climbing shoes for my feet, and my feet alone. It's all well and good renting shoes for a few hours, but they're never going to give you the comfort and performance a pair of your own would.
So I popped along to S+R and after trying several pairs on, I settled on the Durangos.
I've been thoroughly impressed by them so far; they're lovely and comfortable - for a climbing shoe - no blisters or rubbing to report. I always feel supported by them and can be certain I'll be able to jam my toe into a small hold with the help of the toe box, and although it's a little difficult to be certain where exactly my toes are going on the rock due to the thickness of the rubber, bur I know they're not going to slip and I can just have a peek down and check where my foot is positioned. However, this sometimes works to my advantage since my toes aren't in the best condition after years of ballet, so the extra rubber works a treat in protecting my toes from the wall. I've yet to develop any sort of toe pain, which is unheard of for me.
My arches aways feel well supported and snug in the shoe, although the trade-off is that I sometimes won't be able to manipulate my foot into extreme curves and arches since the rubber on the underside is still quite stiff. Whether or not that will change with time, I'm not certain, but it's not a particularly big issue for me seeing as I'm still a beginner.
On an aesthetic level, I'm very fond of the colour - I haven't seen too many climbing shoes in this kind of blue, so I'll always know which are mine! The leather is fantastic quality, and helps to reduce pesky foot odour more than synthetic materials would.
I was very pleased to find the Durango's were lace-ups, since I can adjust the tightness and fit around the contours of my foot very accurately, and the foamy(?) tongue means that I don't get painful pressure points from doing up my laces too tightly.
I'd thoroughly recommend the Durango's for any beginner looking for their first pair of climbing shoes. It's a shoe with longevity and I can see it taking me through to more intermediate levels of climbing and beyond very easily.

comfortable pair of rock shoes
This pair will let you climb for around 2 hours before you start thinking your feet need a break. They do curl inward slightly and I found this to be a great shoe to start getting your feet used to something more technical. Im not the best climber out there but these stick to the rock really well so I found myself feeling more confident with harder climbs. Overall a comfy and solid shoe. I can see these lasting me a long while.

Great value for money
As a first pair of climbing shoes I found these to be comfortable, and have kept up, performance wise, with my progression.
I have a wide fore-foot and a slim heel, and found these shoes suited best for that foot shape.
