Ideal for cold weather mountaineering, you can wear it in bad weather, for hanging out at base camp or for cold days at the crag. The detachable hood adds to the jackets versatility allowing you to reduce weight or opt for full mountain protection. The Summit has been a staple of the Rab range for many years and continues to be very popular. This is by no means the lightest down jacket that Rab produce, using high quality 650 fill power goose down and a Pertex® Endurance shell this but it does mean it is incredibly warm and durable.
