Rated 5 out of 5Â by Lubo257 Excellent Hard Shell Jacket
Love this jacket. Perfect for all seasons on the hill. Equally at home on the Scottish mountain or in the Alps. Good fit and the hood is large enough to work well with a helmet.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by igg100 An outstanding performance ,7 hrs of Dartmoor rain and fog, no issues
Took this jacket to Dartmoor Saturday 2nd May not intending to use it much but the rain and fog at the start of a 55 mile bike ride meant I put it on, six and a half hours later I took it of and I was amazed to find that I was so much drier than I thought possible . No rain got in , no sweat stayed in, have used all sorts of gear in the passed, walking and cycling and this is really the real deal. Next week the lakes for 5 days then Ben Nevis in September and Nepal in November and I now have no hesitation this jacket is going there too. It is a lot of money but it weighs nothing and does the job of keeping you dry , what else would you want and its a British company..

Rated 5 out of 5Â by JC23 Great Waterproof Jacket
I have had a few cheap waterproof jackets and always seem to get soaked. So I decided to purchase a decent waterproof for a trip to NZ.
It rains a fair bit in NZ with the Fiordland getting 8-10m per annum and I wasn't disappointed by this jacket. It is comfortable, breathable and durable, whilst keeping me dry as a bone!!
Would recommend to all.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by munchie_76 Brilliant
I needed a new waterproof because my others were pretty much pants and my brother recommended a Rab jacket and I'm happy to say that I found one at snow and rock at a great price too. Admittedly I haven't had much chance to use it (ruddy heat wave) but the two chances (yes, two) I've worn it (raining!!) it has absolutely brilliant! I've been completely dry and very snug, it has big pockets for all types of stuff maybe not 'the kitchen big' but big enough for walking type thingys.
This jacket is fantastic and I can't wait for when we get the really nasty grotty weather!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Shhhh Great fit and top quailty finish
Very happy with the jacket. Its lightweight but doesn't feel as if it'll fall apart/ tear if you brush up against anything. Looks good too.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by skismurf Rab quality and durability with great breathability
The Latok is a good all round mountain jacket giving great protection from bad weather. Whatever the weather throws at you the Latok will keep you dry and the wind away.
I do use this jacket for skiing too, Rab could improve this jacket by including a small lift pass pocket on the end of the left sleeve. Other than that, perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by meandmine impressed! technically and aesthetically great
i must admit, as i use my jacket as an all rounder (socially as well as actively) i do rather purchase based on aesthetics....
my berghaus mera peak having served me well, with the zip failing after about 3years of day-in day-out wear - i decided it was time for new, but berghaus haven't got anything particularly nice at the moment.
so i went for the rab option and ive not been disappointed! its got a brilliant fit and look, and is light as anything, feels like it will take a beating, and its weatherproofing/breathability seems very good...

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Gontzzo Breathable & Waterproof eVent Jacket
I bought this jacket because I needed a breathable & waterproof layer. eVent seems to be more breathable than GoreTex Proshell and that caught my attention.
Although being a 3-layer (event) jacket, it is lightweight.
Zippers are Aqua-guard from YKK, haven't tested them yet but I can tell they are high quality.
Made in China by the way, but so are most Arcteryx Jackets :)
So far I used it for biking and hiking, and I can't wait for use if for mountaineering stuff.
I own the XS size (I am 5'5 130 pounds), which fits slim, although I am able to layer it for winter.
This Jacket can be used with a helmet, in my case I tried it with a Petzl Meteor III and feels great.
The Latok Alpine version has less pockets than the classic Latok, has 2 internal and 2 external. Both external are high enough for you to wear a harness.
Also has a super high collar which I find it very conformable (when fully zipped.)
I liked Rab so far, it is my first jacket though ;)
