Great ! Lots of research pointed me to this jacket and I am not disappointed ! It is realy wind proof & incredibly warm for so little weight. I've used it in high winds, snow & -4 temps & have stayed warm ! Love it ! 27 January 2013

Glossary

Pertex® QuantumDue to its dense weave, Pertex® Quantum is downproof, wind resistant and can be used for high-end applications. It is extremely light at around 30g/m2 (0.9o/yd2) using the finest yarns available with the maximum thread count. Tear strength and seam strength are good for its weight and it can easily withstand the abuse of hardcore use.
Primaloft®Primaloft uses the finest microfibres to provide the touch and warmth of down, yet is outstandingly water repellent and breathable. It packs down to a small size for transportation and keeps you warm, even in wet weather, drying out far quicker than down.
