Grippy, strong cam with smooth action - what else could be wanted? Was placed immediately on its first outing (on grit) in a secure placement with many further placements following. Very secure, and love as always the extendable sling. Only issue was that I found it hard to get the matching phantom wiregate to rack it! :) 06 July 2015
good cam I am starting my trad rack and want to invest in twin axle cams. I own a few Camelot cams but wanted to try an alternative. the Dragon cam has a slightly more solid construction, but seems a bit more heavy. The mechanism is smooth and feels solid, as expected in placements. The adjusting sling in the cam is a nice addition. Lastly the part where you place your thumb to close the cam is a bit small, but over all I've been impressed. Still undecided as to which model to complete my rack with however, it may well come down to price! 16 June 2015
Great product Personally I think the dragons are the best cams on the market. My favorite feature is the extendable sling, I use it basically every time I place a cam, it helps with rope drag and stops the cam from walking into cracks. It also saves on the number of quickdraws you have to carry up which I think makes up for the fact that the dragons are slightly heavier than some of the other cams on the market. Dragons also have a very good camming range, particularly in the larger sizes which I find makes them extremely versatile, you can often fit more than one size into the same crack, good if you need to climb several meters of crack that is the same size. I've also found them to be very durable and reliable, just the other day a friend of mine took a vary big fall onto one of cams and it was still perfectly fine afterwards, it barely scratched the paint. 13 May 2013
