Rated 5 out of 5Â by Skibums Keep buying year after year
So comfy, the kids love them. Warm and truly no-itch. Great quality. Bought for skiing layers, but kids wear them all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by rascouet Best base layers for active toddlers
These are so soft I can't believe they are 100% merino. My twin girls are super comfortable in them and the best bit is I don't have to worry about washing it every time they wear it. Just air, put away, wear again, repeat. It's expensive but I know they'll get them through this winter. They go under a waterproof, fleece-lined snow suit for play time, or under regular clothes for the push chair (where they don't move and get colder). It's hard to find good base layers for the little ones, so this is great.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by STPinNH2 Good quality, but new version has tight waistband
I am normally between size XS and S in Icebreaker (my waist is 26"). I like a loose fit, so I ordered a size S, which the size charts says is for a 27.5" waist. But the waistband is tiny, barely over 25 inches around! Plus, it's a low-rise fit, so the waistband hits several inches below the actual waist.
I can't stand anything binding around my waist, but I tried them on anyway. As expected, they fit fine except the waistband was just too tight for comfort.
I wonder if Icebreaker forgot to account for the low-rise when they choose the diameter of the waistband? My hips are 30" right where the waistband hits, so I went ahead and ordered a size M. Maybe that will work (though I'm worried the legs will be huge).
I'm disappointed with Icebreaker's new waistbands, but am happy that Icebreaker has a great return policy. I'd still recommend this item for people who like a very tight fitting and extremely secure waistband, or for anyone whose hips are slimmer than their waist (apple shape, but not pear or hourglass shape).

Rated 4 out of 5Â by TerribleTeaGuzzler Initially disappointed, but excellent warranty.
I wrote the earlier review about holes appearing in my Oasis leggings. I was pleased to be contacted promptly afterwards with information about the warranty (which I hadn't known about) and I was promptly able to process a claim for them. Knowing that I can get a replacement if I have issues pretty much fixes my problem, and I am glad to know that Icebreaker stands so firmly behind their products.
My leggings (and my daughters) are fast-drying, look great, feel great, and they are comfortable to wear and move around in. If you want clothes for use and reuse day after day with only a hotel room to wash and dry in, these are your babies.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by TerribleTeaGuzzler Did not last two months.
I had two pairs of Oasis leggings delivered on July 7th, and it is now August 19th, just over a month later. One of my pairs is fine, but the other inexplicably has two holes in the butt - not even along the seam, where I might expect holes. I am very disappointed, as they feel fantastic, and fit really well. I am 5'2", 165lbs, got an XL, and they are just a little loose. The material is soft and light, and I've worn these for quick-dry road trip pajamas, rollerskating, and hiking, and they've kept me warm/cool by turns and wonderfully comfortable. Unfortunately, I just can't justify buying more with this price tag when they get holes so easily.

These leggings are great! They survived all my daughter put them through, and she is rough on clothes.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Vauntastic Good fit, great feel
Fits true to size- XS is definitely XS and the length is perfect for a petite frame (I'm 5ft 4in). Feels great after a wash (but do not put in the dryer!). The only strange thing is that the wet fabric smells very much like a wet animal is hanging out in your room, since it's made from merino wool.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Ivonne my icebreaker sailing/motorcycling essential
There are many reasons why I love the IB base layers especially for motorcycling, also the leggings. My criteria? Warmth insulation/breathability, natural fibre on skin (frictional heat if crashing!), easy to pack away, non-chafing, durable, easy care and layering for quick adaptation to changing temperature, non-odour (limited storage on a bike). Stylish gear is very welcome:-).
That base layer meets all those criteria perfectly- either worn daily with biking jeans or functional touring gear. Soft, warm, breathable, non-chafing, (almost) no stink after a few days. Also due to the excellent quality of the wool. Being 180cm tall & long-legged, they end approx. 5cm above my ankle. Could they be longer? Yes, sure- but with OTC socks, that's ok. Long-term durability at exposed areas (bottom, inner thighs..) will show.
