Arc'teryx Men's Atom LT Hoody
There isn't a Reason not to have it
ok so its not the cheapest of jackets but its very light weight, and waterproof! and one feature that many jackets of this size lack is good tempreture control i use this jacket for committing and hill walking, i never feel cold or to hot in the jacket

Best peice of snow wear ive ever bought!
i use this Jacket for everyday wear even though that was not its soul intension when i bought it, its the warmest jacket ive ever owned and works incredibly well as a mid layer which is what i bought it for. its incredibly light, warm and stylish.
if the only thing that your worried about is the price you will not regret buying this for even full price. if i counted everytime i used this jacket and was greatfull for it it would work out as about 50 pence a time and thats ever decreasing.

Excellent purchase recommended by the S&R staff. Took this to Norway (-20) and this kept me nice and warm. Extremely lightweight and you can fold this just like a sleeping bag so very easy to carry around. it provides excellent insulation as its completely windproof. Very versatile I have also worn this as an windbreaker in London.

You won't believe how useful this jacket is!
I bought this hoody to sit under my newly acquired Stingray, I spent an hour with the sales fella at SnR talked about whether to go for the LT or the SV. The problem is you can't quite imagine that this very light jacket is going to be warm enough on its own, let alone as a Mid layer under the hard shell. But it is quite something! With the cold conditions we are suffering at moment I thought I'd trial the hoody, on its own, in the UK out walking in some forests and parks and it doesn't disappoint. Wearing just a t shirt underneath is enough for temps down to about 5 degrees, and anything lower just add a decent base layer. The pockets are just fantastic offering warmth and a lovely lining when it gets a bit windy. If the temp really drops the hood is amazing, it feels like it has its own powered heat source.
The hoody is so breathable and light yet so warm , it means I would never go back to a fleece.
I think the hoody will get quite some wear this year, the versatility means it will be perfect for skiing in the winter and UK mountain walking in the summer, I really can't see me packing it away and that, for me, is a great piece of kit.

An amazing jacket
I have never fallen in love with an item of clothing until I bought this jacket. It is great in both mild and not so mild conditions!

Arcteryx always on top
My product is perfect, just got time to use for cold weather, but not for skiing but will do soon.
The price is expensive but as always you know what you pay with Arcteryx.
The jacjket fits good, really warm, thin and confortable.
It's also good looking so can be worn whenever you need.
Really easy to pack even if I will suggest a bag to pack it in the luggages.

Had my doubts about how much warmth it would give me, but it blew me away when I wore it alone with a t-shirt underneath and walked out into the cold at 4 degrees celsius. I was warm.
It's just good, don't regret paying the 180 quid for it. If it can help me survive in Rovaniemi too this christmas, then that would be great.

The jacket is very light but at the same time impressively warm. It's surprisingly water-repellant, although that isn't why you'd buy it.
Large fits me well (42" chest roughly) and the zip action works nicely: isn't stiff, doesn't get caught. Pockets are lined nicely, very warm. Hood isn't adjustable but that doesn't bother me.
